Vision: To use harm reduction modalities by engaging, educating, and empowering first responders, police, firefighters, treatment centers, and others closely involved with those suffering from substance use disorder, by partnering with local and state government, as well as medical and civic leaders.

Shreeta Waldon
Shreeta WaldonExecutive Director
Shreeta is noted as an expert in the field of substance use and prevention with experience spanning over 14 years. As the new Executive Director of Kentucky Harm Reduction Coalition, her primary focus is on the current, most pressing needs of the people in our community who are disproportionately affected by substance use disorder to improve the overall health of the communities we serve. Her belief, passion, and work come from one intentional focus:
“If we release our idea of what someone needs and wants and simply create the space and opportunity for them to take the lead, that is meeting someone where they are. You will be surprised at how amazing someone can thrive when you step out of the way and walk alongside on the journey. It’s simply magical!”
