Gov. Bevin signs emergency regulation to help fight drug epidemic

*State leaders warning about “Pink”- “Pinky” -AKA U47700, a synthetic opioid drug.*

**Teens are buying the drug online; it’s potent and eight times stronger than heroin.**

***And it’s lethal.***

Pink is legal in 46 states. However, in Kentucky, U47700 or better known as Pink, is classified as a Schedule I drug. Meaning it has no medical significance, can not be obtained with a prescription, and has a high potential for abuse, according to the DEA guidelines.

Governor Matt Bevin signed the emergency regulation on November 15, 2016.
