Pamela Spalding Duke, a native of Louisville, Kentucky has recently returned to the Commonwealth after living in numerous states as a military spouse. During that span of over thirty years, she successfully applied and honed her business and service related skills in many ways. Prior to leaving Kentucky, she is noted for being the first woman to have graduated from the University Of Kentucky School Of Business (cum laude) and being the first woman hired in a non administrative position by the KY Small Business Administration.In addition to raising three children and moving her household fourteen times, she obtained a realestate license selling properties in three separate states. Pam also worked as the supervisor for temporary housing for military personnel and their families at the Marine Corps Combat Training Center, 29 Palms CA. Utilizing her administrative and business background, she managed and personally invested daily millions of dollars of temporary short interest funds accumulated worldwide by the Headquarters Marine Corps Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Division at Quantico, VA. Pam was heavily involved in many programs that supported the families of deployed Marines during her husband’s career while raising three children who were actively involved in both team and individual sports. She is currently involved in service/volunteer work in association with Northeast Christian Church in Louisville and in the scheduling of personnel, resources and event planning for the Kentucky Harm Reduction Coalition.
