More than 30 years’ experience in leadership, management, and training positions concerning security and support positions with both US and state government/local law enforcement programs.
Retired United States Marine Corps Infantry Officer who served numerous overseas deployments to include Somalia, Afghanistan and Yemen. Program manager and supervised counter drug programs in South America. During latter years instrumental in supporting counter-terrorism programs within the Middle East for US Central Command. Recalled to active duty as result of 9-11 attacks and assigned as Operations Officer for initial Counterterrorism operations conducted within Afghanistan. Final assignment prior to second retirement was Commanding Officer Special Operations Command Yemen.
Retired and Served eight years as a sworn law enforcement officer for the Tennessee Department of Safety/Office of Homeland Security. Duties included direct liaison with three FBI Joint Terrorism Task Forces within the state as well as other Federal Law Enforcement Agencies, board member of the Governors’ Methamphetamine Task Force and representative to the Tennessee Chiefs of Police and Sherriff’s Association.
