The Health and Wellness Lounge will allow participants to utilize case management and peer support services. Navigating the many systems can be daunting. Providing a supportive partner to assist an individual in addressing those above would greatly improve health outcomes in our targeted area. A Targeted Case Manager would be assigned to participants and complete a wellness assessment reviewing activities of daily living. Participants would develop a plan of sustainability with their case manager. A harm reduction peer support member would become a partner to the participant in their journey to healing.

What We Offer

The Health Kiosk provides a range of free harm-reduction products, including:

• Naloxone: Life-saving medication that can reverse opioid overdoses.
• Safer Use Supplies: Tools to reduce the risk of infection and disease transmission.
• Wound-care kits: These are essential items for caring for injection sites and other minor wounds, promoting healing and preventing complications.
• Safer Sex Items: Condoms, lubricants, and other products to promote sexual health and prevent sexually transmitted infections.
• Hygiene Items: Soap, sanitizer, toothbrushes, and other essentials to maintain personal hygiene and health.
• Gloves and Socks: Warmth and protection, especially for those experiencing homelessness.
• Protein Bars: Nutritious snacks to support overall health and well-being.

• Reduce Overdose Deaths: Naloxone distribution can make the difference between life and death in the event of an opioid overdose.

• Promote Health: Hygiene items and nutritious snacks support overall health and well-being, particularly for those with limited access to necessities.
• Build Trust: Providing these resources in a non-judgmental and accessible manner fosters trust and encourages individuals to seek further support and services.
