Our Mission

At the KyHRC Health and Wellness Lounge, we aim to provide a safe and inclusive space where individuals can access comprehensive health services, harm reduction supplies, wound care supplies, hygiene products, food, and other daily necessities and connect with a supportive network.  We strive to empower individuals to take control of their health and lead fulfilling lives.

Services and Offerings

1. Health Education Workshops: Join us for informative workshops covering various health topics, including harm reduction strategies, sexual health, nutrition, mental wellness, and more.  Our workshops are led by knowledgeable professionals who empower you with the information you need to make informed decisions about your health.
2. Support Groups: Connect with others who share similar experiences in our supportive and non-judgmental support groups.  Whether you’re navigating recovery, managing a chronic condition, or seeking support for mental health challenges, our groups offer a space for sharing, healing, and mutual support.
3. Wellness Activities: Take time to nourish your body, mind, and spirit through our wellness activities. From yoga and meditation sessions to art therapy and stress-reduction techniques, we offer a variety of activities designed to promote relaxation, self-care, and overall well-being.
4. Resource Center: Access valuable resources, including educational materials, referrals to community services, and harm reduction supplies, at our on-site resource center. Our knowledgeable staff is here to assist you in finding the support and resources you need to thrive.

Community Engagement

Community engagement is essential to creating lasting change and improving health outcomes. We actively engage with community members, partner organizations, and stakeholders to identify needs, advocate for policy change, and promote health equity for all.
